It's literally 50 degrees in michigan, it looks and smells like spring, everything melt over the last two days, & we didn't get any real snow until the 15th of Dec! I don't understand how the end of the world is deniable at this point, I guess you just gotta stay aware.

Cheers for the free PR, mate!
That wasn't the only episode RadioLab I quoted from, but definitely the most relevant.

Also, two other episodes worth checking out, that heavily influenced this talk:

'Words' (a more recent one)
and
'Storytelling' -- which is Robert Krulwich's talk to the graduates of CalTech on the importance of scientists learning to tell stories.

Viva RadioLab! Robert grounds Jad, and Jad makes Robert cool.

Love this.

Tomorrow, maybe answer a few calls as Tony Johnson. Start to escalate the scam. Then get weird.

Tell them you need to know more about their "situation" to ensure speedier processing. Ask them how many 'aunt-cousins' are in their family, and to dictate, in detail, their last several meals eaten solely in the company of the same gender. Ask them to precisely measure the circumference of their wrist, then react with barely suppressed shock and concern, implying that it's "the really dangerous size". Whenever they name an event in their past, say something like "for clarification, was that before or after you raped those skunks?"

Just some thoughtstarters.

What an amazingly weird and random thing! :)

Well, after all these years of abortive hacks like Michael Bay, Paul WS Anderson, etc, we've finally found a true successor for James Cameron in the sci-fi genre, and it is Neil Blomkamp.
